Hehehehehehe....my manager pulled me into a meeting this morning for a very brief word. He gave me my notice back, told me he took it down because he felt the tone didn't reflect well on the company, but that he fully appreciates my sentiments and agrees that it is discrimination against a motorcycle. He actually seemed rather amused... =D
Walking into town today I used the pedestrian underpass beneath a busy road, you know the type, steep concrete steps leading down to it from 1 direction and a ramp leading down from another direction for wheelchairs/pushchairs etc. Walking under the road I can here bump bump bump coming from round the corner and sure enouth, there's a girl bouncing her push chair, complete with sprog on board. down the concrete steps instead of using the ramp.
And these people are paid to breed!
Needless to say, if the sprog had fallen out of the chair she'd have been quick enouth to sue the council for not putting up warning sighns about NOT using the steps with push chairs.
Hip hurts, it's pissin me off...fkn NHS are shite, been waiting coming up 5 years for them to sort their shit out and get me some scans. Hip is result of a crash 4 1/2 years ago (august 21st 2007)...they fk'd up the scans they gave me at the time, dismissed me without treatment (after I'd been hospitalised for weeks) and told me there was nothing wrong with it. Bastids.
Just sick of this shit now.
Had to nip out in the car tonight and passed pretty close to Squires, where 2 bikers over took me on the brow of a hill, as a car coming the opposite way overtook a car his side - also on the brow of the hill. Total bl@@dy @rses - bikers and car driver alike!!! I managed to brake and ran onto a grass kerb, but one of the bikes ended in a ditch, and the overtaking car coming the other way didn't even bother to stop.
Luckily everyone's ok - tho' the bikers now have a serious case of earache and sheepishness after much ranting from yours truly and t'other driver!!!
I knew the bikers were behind me as I could see them in my mirrors, so I expected that once we were over the brow, that they'd take off - no problem with that!
But like they say - always expect the unexpected!!!!
On that last coment Purplebetty , Absoluteley ......!!!!!!! just like to add that there is a blind brow on the Abbotsbury road in dorset from Upwey to Burton bradstock , which as one would say is blinding !!!!!
What is it with idiot managers? Asked for the second easter week off only to be told we MIGHT be busy that week, so no sorry, then has the f&&king brass neck to ask if I`ll work easter Monday as a favour. Needless to say the answer was an emphatic "more chance of hell freezing over"
A lot of the pictures I take are with weapons as I use them at work it's part of the job always on you...I do spend a good part of my life working.....was told to remove a picture of me stood cradling a rifle at work.........what is this for? to not promote guns or some other cuddly political correctness..... At least it is me how I look in the flesh, we should get people to put a proper likeness up before starting to nit pic at what for some of us are every day tools of the trade as a spanner would be to a mechanic...
QUESTION- I have been on here for a few years now and had pictures of me in the marines with weapons, doing Close protection with weapons, now anti piracy with weapons....has anyone ever been offended by any of these pictures or believes I have been advocating violence......
Seriously?
Someone has been offended by THAT picture or have they only just decided to enforce policy?
Either way it sucks. If you were toting a pistol trying to be a gangster, then yes they would have a point but that was a picture of you protecting the waters from piracy and that is a tool of your trade.
Gonna miss that picture of you, Johnny...
Me too showed off my badger beard a treat ha ha, ahhhhhhh had just woken up ( in Sri Lanka sun up beach outside) and it spoiled my mellow this morning ...I have since woken up and spend hours on the beach ...mellow is back... And breath in and out lol
