Mum and dad want me to pass on their 'Thanks to all for your help and support, it's really appreciated'!
I told them of everything you all said and i've given them a list of the things we can now set up, and am going back over there later once they've read it.
TC - I've read through Truecall's website and it looks to be a brilliant invention. my thanks for the info I'm definately going to sort that out for them.
At least M&D didn't get pestered again last night, though dad was muttering all manner of things he'd do to the creep if he could have only pulled him down the phone line!!! Bless him, he's still my mums knight in shining armour!
Oh, and they've now got my VERY LOUD EAR Splitting WHISTLE TO PLAY WITH.
PB, I hope your parent's neighbours are hard of hearing LOL
Don't add their number to the *TPS list because market researchers are allowed to cold call, even if your number is on it.
In fact, by adding your number to the list it lets MRs know of your existence, I wouldn't be surprised if they set up the site.
*TPS = Telephone Preference Service
Hi Sandi, yes I remember you writing about this before, which is why I want them to think about everything before deciding which way they want to go.
My dad's main worry is that as mum is an uncontrolled diabetic and can collapse into a coma within minutes, he needs the phone to be available at all times. He's scared that these sewer rats will deliberately leave the line blocked.
He has got a mobile tho - BUT - never leaves it switched on, never charges it, never remembers where he put it!!! So that's something I need to convince him to keep active as a backup.
Ps - I think/hope the neighbours would fully understand cos it is a damm loud whistle. All staff were issued with one in case anything kicked off and we couldn't reach the panic button. The minute that whistle blew, lots of hunky men in uniform came running to our aid!!!
Really really want to have a huge, in fact massive rant, blood boiling big time, but, i like to say to the faces of the people, not be 2 faced and just talk to whoever reads this!!!! A few petty people think they are so clever, in their own little heads, plotting and conniving behind backs, but alas, to succeed, they will have to build their knowledge and skills to a level that, not even in their wildest dreams could they fathom how to attempt to start to comprehend the complexity involved in such an "out of their reach" assignment!!!!!!
But, hey, I'm going to laugh my socks off watching them try!!!!!!!
A big well done to Stratstone Triumph Wolverhampton for killing my bike!!! It was perfectly fine until I took it there, now after having 2 simple jobs - checking the mapping is up to date and a wiring loom recall the digital display cuts out 5minutes from their place, so I stop as I can't tell my speed, turn it off to turn back on to see if it will re-set it, and nothing!! the battery is drained. They blame the battery regardless of the fact it has started first time every time since I had the bike until now (brand new battery on it 5 weeks ago), so I either have the display working but cant start the engine or vice versa, and all they offer to do it collect it, take me home and look at in monday as their technicians are about to go home!! The have obviously left the ignition on with the lights on and drained it or not wired it up properly. I am fuming!!!
Hello There Sorry to hear the news about you bike.
If you have a 12volt battery charge, it may be worth charging for a few hours and then see if the same thing happens. If it works at least you may get out tomorrow for a few hours.
I hope it all gets sorted for you.
HT - make sure u get a charger suitable for bikes, as a car charger could fry the battery. If u can afford one, get an 'intelligent' charger, such as an Optimate. Prices start from £30.
Umm Stratstones ?
what ever posesed you to take yo0ur bike there thay did over £1500.00
ofdamage to my harley lucky for me thay said thay had the bike running before I picked it up and thay had to fit new ECU and Alarm system
People who ride big sports bikes and can't do bends!! I'm not a ride-to-the-edge kinda person but I spent a dozen miles or so miles in North Wales today nearly stuffing myself and Ms Perfect Pilly up the tail light of summat large and powerful 'cos he jammed the anchors on at every bend. I ask you!
WTF is wrong with the british public? they are causing fuel shortages, garages are running out of fuel because there maybe a strike yes maybe, but there has to be a 7 day stretch before they can strike a ffs the army are going to deliver fuel
anyway i heard single men are going on strike, so i'm just waitng for all the single women to start queueing up!!
PML @ A J's post. (I'm also known as A J)

Diesel spills.... Wibble wobble like a sidewinder and almost chucked off-managed to keep bike upright but rattled me!
U'd hav thought with the fuel shortage they'd hav mopped it up....
Xk-i slow down for corners coz i'm riding miss daisy not rossi and i'm still getting used to being on the bike and i'm not confident about wrestling it yet..... If i'd hav been caneing the bike i'd hav gone splat instead of squiggling thro it-just glad the roundabout was clear so i didnt hav to brake as well....
