The Tibbie Shiels Inn and campsite on the shores of St. Mary's loch is situated half way between Moffat Jct.15 M74 and Selkirk A7 on the A708.
This is a sheltered valley site surrounded by trees and high mountains.
The Scottish Borders have miles of traffic free roads to explore as well as several ,thoroughly Scottish, towns and villages.
Campfires are allowed on site, the Tibbie has a small selection of groceries , beer, spirits and wines to consume on the campsite.
The food in the bar is first class, all cooked on the premises and sourced locally.
Tesco Carlisle 100 mtrs from M6 Jct.43 visible from the roundabout, is a good place to fuel up
Dusty will be in the Tesco café at 13:00, setting off for the Tibbie approx 1 hour later at 14:00.
Contact Dusty to let him know you will meet up with him, remember to let him know if your plans change, so he's not waiting unnecessarily.
All welcome.
