Once again, the CRMC return to fabulous Donington Park for the fifth Classic Motorcycle Festival, which has now become the largest classic motorcycle race event in Europe, and possibly the World.
If you are interested in older classic racing motorcycles, the Donington Classic Motorcycle Festival is the place to be.
More news will be published here and on the CRMC News Blog as it happens, but it looks like an exciting line up (we'll tell you more as soon as we can, we really will!).
One of the stars already announced is Simon Crafar, the popular World Superbike and Grand Prix racer from New Zealand. Simon Crafar won the 500cc British Grand Prix at Donington in 1988 and was also a podium finisher in British and World Superbikes. He started racing in 1981 (a year after the CRMC started!) and moved up to World Superbikes in 1989, before making his Grand Prix debut in 1993.
He scored 10 podium finishes in World Superbikes, and took three podiums and a victory from 32 starts in Grand Prix motorcycle racing.
Simon Crafar will be at the CRMC Donington Classic Motorcycle Festival in 2017
The New Zealander will take part in the star parades as well as making appearances across the venue.
The festival will once again feature up to 50 races across the three days, as well as parades and massive display areas, with event regular Steve Parrish also confirmed to return again.
