Event: Excuse For a Party

A relaxed get together in a traditional Lakeland Field Barn or Hogg-House on the outskirts of the village of Rosthwaite in the Borrowdale valley.

Handy for the village shop (200 Yards) and Pub (300 Yards).

Facilities: Barn capacity is for 12 and there is an overflow camping field adjacent to the barn which shares the same facilities.

There is a cooking and eating area on the ground floor, with an electric kettle microwave, electric cooking ring. Sleeping accommodation is on the first floor (12 Mattresses provided). The wash basin and toilet are in a separate room complete with shower. (Electric clothes drier is provided).

Electricity is charged extra (Meter read at start and end of stay)

Price is £16 per person for 2 nights, whether camping or sleeping in the barn.
Places in the barn will be on a first come, first served basis.
Those wanting to stay a third night, till Monday 15th March, may book their place directly with the barn booking service, but it is possible they may not secure the barn for sole use unless it is booked to capacity.

Directions:From Keswick take the B5289, 5 miles down the Borrowdale Valley. The barn is on the left just over the bridge at Rosthwaite (follow sign for Hazel Bank Hotel) Map Ref: NY 259150
