Freelance Mechanical Services Engineer. Involves the design, commissioning and trouble shooting of all mechanical services within modern buidlings. Such as offices, hospitals, data centres, government buildings etc. Systems worked on:- central airconditioning plant. Ventilation Hot and cold water Medical gases Heating Compressed air etc I enjoy surveying old buildings, where the records have been lost and I have to start from scratch. Decide the intended mode of operation, it's deficiencies and then recommend what can be done to make things work correctly. I may then be involved with implementing the rectifications and demonstrations to the client. As I am self employed and work is not always guaranteed, I sometimes have to put my hand to something else. This could be plumbing, DIY repairs etc. Well you can't sit around twiddling your fingers waiting for work to come to you.

Ooops... must have pressed wrong button!!

Just thinking that you'd be a useful addition for the calendar, so your firefighter role would indeed be useful to BM
