The Lay-By mentioned is situated on the top end of the southbound side of the Pembury By-Pass on the A21, don't think anyone will miss it as it will be full of bikes.
We shall be here from about 9.45-10.00 watching the bikes go by and enjoying a cuppa and bacon sarnie for around ½ hour then riding the short distance down the By-Pass to Kippings Cross Services for anybody who wants to meet here for a 10.45 departure back to Hastings.
The choice is yours whether you meet at the lay-by or Kippings Cross.
Regards Dave.
Bit partial to black pud myself Colin, especially the puds from Bury market in Lancashire they are delish .
I feel obliged to take a ride to the catering establishment in said lay-by and sample there offerings to make sure there bacon sarnies are up to expected standards, not just the once either you understand .
Oh yeah and enquire about black pudding.
dave, can you do an e mail to as many members as you can list within 20 miles or so of hastings? Talk to matt and give him a list of postcodes and he will sort it, needs doing about a month b4 and ideally again a few days b4 to remind folk.Really busy here myself sorting events for later in year, would be a great help if u can.
I was just planning on following whoever is in front and see where we finish up ?? .
I know we'll get pb to navigate for us, probably get to Hastings in half the time .
Not met any of you lot yet but I wondered if there was a spare pillion going for the May Day Run. I do have my own bike but I've recently had a knee replacement and told not to ride at least until the summer so it's pillion only for the time being!
You lot have forgot about Cheryl wanting a pilly.
Cheryl put your self on the event and click lift request. I think there may just be one or two gentlemen who may help.
