Ok folks the plan is to meet at 11-30 for a 12 Noon leave on the 30th May from South Mimms Services Jct 23, M25. EN6 3QQ for the run up to Derbyshire. We will be using the M25/M1 and should take about 2-1/2 hours to cover the 125 miles. with possible stop at Watford Gap for small fuel tanks or bladders. We decided on using the motorway because some members would have already had covered 100 miles just to get to this meeting point. Remember the site is about 10 miles from the nearest fuel point so please fill up close to the rally if your coming up the A50 come off at the A38 there is a service station there
Cheers JP at this point I'd like to get to the site to have a small pint of beer and have a boogie with BJ. But no I'm in Derby filling up with petrol and not doing the twist with my beloved BJ. Ps. Any of you desperado's want to meet up at Thurrock Services on the way to South Mimms, i'm planning on getting there between 9.00-9.30 for a quick leg stretch and a fag break for passenger.
Want to get to South Mimms in time for a decent break to get a drink and scoff and top up on fuel and chill before hitting the M1.
