I'm an ex child protection social worker/manager/consultant for few years in London, loads of experience and qualifications in this field and related areas; hope you don't need it... but more then happy to assist with anything related to the all process from children/families/treatments/support/social services/rights/national, european & international legislation, etc etc.
Not employed at the moment, but keeping very busy with various volunteer jobs with children and adults, from dance, swimming, outdoor activities, arts, crafts, IT, and mentor for social projects;
I'm portuguese so, more then happy to translate any document; advise about the country if you wanting to go in holidays or for rallies; or wanting tuition to learn the language; i do also speak french, spanish and italian so...
Currently, i'm in the process of getting my qualification as teaching aquatics (exercise and swimming) and already working in this area;
On my free time, i do loads of different types of handmade crafts involving practical arts; all sorts of easy, creative and interesting crafts and project ideas, from new to old and reused materials;
I work in mental health
Plenty of work for you on here, Betsycat; we're all
And Mena, that's some CV!
Surprised you have any spare time; no mention of bikes, tho?
Thanks XKLYBR and a good note, didn't thought it would be relevant to mention the bikes here, you all have much more experience then me; bikes has been one of my passions too as few other motorsports; had my first bike with 14 yo, did karting and cars for a wile, few years ago had a Yamaha Virago 535 (which i loved), and in between and after cars and loads of pillion, which i really enjoy; this all back to my country and in UK have been just a pillion but not much as i would like.
Went to few bikers rallies in portugal & spain, well known ones like Faro, Gois, Santiago de Compostela & Jerez de La Fronteira, been Faro (south portugal and known as the biggest in europe) the one i liked most.
Would like to cross africa/europe on bike and have been reading about it... don't know if it would be happening but i love dreaming :) who knows...
So, if any of this experiences can be off any help, i'm more then happy to give advise too :)
Oh theres so many, I dont know who to ask so I leave this post and see if anyone gets back to me - please PM. I usually work on scooters so dont know it this is possible - I want to remove the back of the frame on my diversion in order to make a 'trick seat' for the pillion. Thats the part of the frame that goes under the seats from the back foot pegs ... presumably I then need to replace the back bar to keep the frame from flexing? if I can do that I then need someone who can make the trick seat for me, I've seen it done on a scooter but obviously the seat set up is different on a bike - what I want is to have a single seat for the rider with a mini luggage rack where the pillion seat was but - and here's the catch - I want a back rest on the riders seat that folds down over the luggage rack to provide a childs/small person sized pillion- oh and adjustable back foot pegs for same - any ideas on whether it can be done and who could do it are welcome thanks x
