Folks i have been in touch with the organisers and they are happy to arrange a day for this for BM folk only. It would have to be in Birmingham am afraid but we can always combine it with a night out :)
Take a look below and if you fancy it or know another member who might let me know :)
The Motor Cycle Industry Association's award-winning Get On Campaign - www.geton.co.uk - is a nationwide campaign to introduce the benefits of riding a motorcycle or scooter by offering the public a free ride with a qualified instructor at sites across the UK. Riders must be 16 or over and all training is on private ground.
It's never been easier to try a motorcycle or scooter Get On - On the Road is offering you the opportunity - absolutely free. Spend some time with the Get On team and they'll tell you everything you need to know about how to get on to two wheels.
They will have a range of 125cc machines - petrol and electric - scooters and motorbikes for you to try and product displays from local motorcycle dealers. On the day the Get On team will kit you out in all the safety gear you need and get you going (riding doesn't take place on public roads).
A brief introduction to the bike is all you'll need before you're riding - and more importantly grinning from ear to ear wondering why you hadn't done this before. You'll also be able to ask questions of the Get On training partners regarding your next steps. If you're thinking of getting on two wheels and need some helpful, friendly advice - this is it.
This initiative is being promoted by the Smarter Choices Team. The team helps to raise awareness in different travel choices such as walking, cycling and public transport in order to reduce CO2, save money and stay fit.
