At Matlock today we were chatting about the people on BM that post on the forums and wondered why lots of (full) members never post at all. I said I could understand it as although I'm happy to post on BM another forum I regularly go on, I very rarely post at all, being happy to just read what others say. this is a rugby league forum.
It got me thinking, other than BM, what other forums (non bike related) do BM'ers go on?
nibikers.......which is kinda bike related ....although theres a lot more race stuff on it and general chit chat........but its mainly to wind up all the neanderthal little boys....of which there seem to be many! lol its my hobby!

I wondered why my ears were burning lol

Facebook but not often
Hi
I dont do Facebook or Twitter.............. I did try Facebook once and lets just say things out of my past turned up, so i shut it straight back down again.
I do enjoy posting on here though, particularly answering some of the comments i get back, and also to help people out if i can like the lady who did a taster session instead of spending her money on a CBT. Would have been a waste of her money if she found she didnt like it.....but she did LOL
So 'no' I dont post on anything else.
Hi Blackberry, remember having the conversation with you at Matlock, so just to follow up,, i dont use any other forums other than BM.
Not into face book as seems to be lots of people on there from my past I have not heard or seen for years, they are in the past for good reasons, so best they stay there.
I used to use the Honda Blackbird forum but been so long since i used it cant remember user and pass words now.
I use BM and Facebook. I quite like keeping in touch with folk from my past and for those few that I would prefer not to speak to, I can block them. However, it can be much more fun winding up those one or two folk who gave me a hard time when I was younger. Now I'm in charge - yey!
I use and post in the Ducati Paso forum occasionally
I have used and posted in the Yamaha owners forum previously
I used to use the Ryedale Riders forum but don't bother now
I visit the C1 owners forum but I've never posted in it
I have a Facebook page but rarely use it
BM is my "major" biking interface
It is also my social networking platform
As I socialise mainly with bikers
Most musicians are too busy being musical
So I tend keep that side "personal" rather than "cybernetic"
Although emails and texts are making inroads even there
Besides BM I use facebook & I'm in a FB biker riders group of mainly northwest riders on there. I contribute sometimes & it's really great to get information about rides and events happening in the local area.
Same as MTM, plus I'm on the Key Publishing aviation forum (Scouse) where I post from time to time. Also do the BMW owners club and Honda OC forums, but only post occasionally.
Well.. I am addicted to BikerMatch and have a love hate relationship with Facebook.. sometimes I post sporadically and sometimes I have to physically fight with myself to leave it be... Out of the two though it's BM that I miss the most when I have no phone or internet...
Also.. an online game called StarFleet Command.. but that is beyond ridiculously addictive and time consuming and I love the folk in there.. so staying away.. I have study to do!!
Also a member of the Sacred Church of Epiphany.. but am fairly quiet in there.. for now... Spiritual Networks.. watchfully quiet in there.. and Global Peace Web keep inviting me based on my work in Spiritual Networks... Also a FB Reiki Healing Group.. but depends on how I feel about myself...
These ones.. a lot of it comes down to confidence in yourself and your abilities and how you feel on the day... Whereas Facebook & BikerMatch.. I can giggle for England or have a complete mental breakdown and not think anything of it...
If I had to choose though.. between BM & Facebook.. not sure I could to be honest....
