as a night trucker ive seen the cameras working when the variable speed signs are switched off.... the cameras revert to 70mph which strangely enough is the motorway speed limit lol....M1 luton, nottingham and most of the M25 overheads have been seen working but not ful time..so the M62 cameras are probably the same ...."managed motorways" my arse just another form of accidental tolls methinks.......
Erm just an update.... on me way to excalibur rally this weekend going the fast route for me the overheads on M1 south were lit and very busy nicking speeders......
