Its actually not as heavy as you might think, and once its moving its awesome. plenty of power and handles really well one or two up. It is worth getting suspension set up though (as with all performance bikes)/ Goes forever and a day. Ive done 600+ miles in a day comfortably on one, or 1200 in a weekend. had mine for over two years and it still gives me a big grin every time I ride it. best go test ride one
i had a zzr1400 when they first came out in 2007.very good bikes no real issues with them other than they suit a taller person due to the stretch over the tank (as in over 5"7).as with the 1100 very long bike and if your short in the leg like me may struggle to manouver at slow speed lol i loved mine but still prefered my zzr1100 and now way prefer my speed triple
thanks for all the info.... im short and fat...
its a 10 plate im looking at...
I love my trident but little old to take to Europe
my zrx 12200 great muscle bike but hard work anything over 400 miles in a day... but as im not aerodynamic its hard work over 80.LOL
thanks all for taking time to respond.. :-)
thats cool mate and if you put in a search on google for 2010 zzr1400 review and have a look at the mcn reveiw it got 5 stars overall and got 4 stars for everything.i did find it a bit weighty coming in at 215kg but then my trumpet only weighs 189 and since ive lost 2.5st i dont have the body strength anymore lol the newer zzr14 weighs a lot more at 239 so the earlier ones are better for weight
Hi I am lucky I have two zzr1400 one for work and my own. Probably the best machine I have ever owned light powerful and reliable.Easy to by pass the speed limiter if that floats your boat. Not much I dont know about these bikes if you need to know something from technical to set up give me a shout..Nige.
