Ok , been having a discussion or two and come up with a wee plan
How about meeting at Whistle Binkies , 4 - 6 South Bridge ,EH1 1LL , for happy hour and live music @ 7.30pm then onto Banshees Labyrinth , Niddry Street , EH1 1LG for a wander through Edinburghs famous haunted underground streets while enjoying a wee tipple If anyone is still standing after a few hours then it's off down to Opium , 71 Cowgate , EH1 1JW , for a bit of alternate music to finish the night off
If there are other pubs / clubs you would like to add to the list then feel free .. i've got all night
I know I'm going to sound like an old fart, but nothing gets me OUT of a pub faster than live music because I hate having to YELL at the top of my voice to be heard.... that's not fun.
Malt Shovel it is then - until another change to the plan comes along
If the food at the Malt Shovel is limited or it's too busy, there's the Filling Station up on the high street, they should be able to accommodate us no problem.
Think Teenybash is keen for an earlier start too, although not sure how long a night my liver can handle
Think it's still very much on. Exact times to be decided, but a slightly earlier start, and if folk want to join the group later on I'm sure we'll have enough texts flying about to let everyone know where we are
Looks like Ill be heading in with Teenybash and company so I wont be wandering the streets of Edinburgh alone wondering where the hell everyone is.... look forward to it. X
