Hi I am new here, done my CBT in May this year, i am currently riding a zontes scorpion 125. Looking to go to any bike events or meet ups that are around the newcastle upon tyne area.
Looking to move to the cruiser type of bikes once i have done my mod 1 & 2.
Good luck with the Mod 1 & 2, you've got all winter to get them sorted which will see you licensed to grin by spring. As Rags says there isn't much left this year, except the Santa Lower Lode thing and trying to get there on a 125 would be purgatory, but there is next year and it starts in May in Middleton-in-Teesdale which is only a short hop from the Toon.
Thank you, I have had some people say long distance riding on a 125 can be a nightmare, as I was thinking on doing a trip down to leeds on that bike to see a couple of friends.

I know of at least one person on here who has racked up 20k miles on a 125 cruiser type in only a few years and regularly does one hundred miles in a day and more. I used to ride a 100cc 2 stroke 160 miles each way to visit my parents but that was a few years ago🤣 Just plan your route and enjoy🏍️👍
