many years ago met some lads near Barry island both in RAF riding rd350 lc they had more trick bits than i have ever seen,one had his engine chrome plated ,all cortesy of the RAF.

Yeah getting stuff chromed up seems to be a pastime down there. I had a BSA 250 Star done up the same way, looked great but was a bag of nails.

I have been offered free flights in our jets a few times but I refuse everytime...(I know how they are put together you see.) Besides did you see the piccy of the loony flying his. That is why we are always fixing them. LOL

Just had a thought Storm. Sometimes we have open days up here on the airfield, as I work there I can usually take a guest along. Not sure when there will be another one, but if you are interested let me know. I know it's a long trip but I have a spare room and if you don't fancy that, there are cheap hotels and B&B places around.
Mind you as I said I don't have the faintest idea when the next one will be though.
