Most of us, at some point in our riding life, have had the misfortune to call on the services of a solicitor after we've met with an accident. If you can recommend a bike solicitor, letting us know which area of the U K they work in and their business contact number, it would be of great help to others.

Something people may not also know is that if your in a union they will fund a solicitor for you free of charge for certain things, I am using mine for my motorbike accident claim.

Try Googling Mal Kirwan...he used to with Kirwans in birkenhead but now he's set up on his own. Ex-TT rider...client base across the country. CG's right in that many, if not most, unions, now offer built-in legal insurance. Check your car/bike insurance, too, and your AA/RAC/whatever membership as that may offer legal services as well.

I also think you can use your house insurance depending what cover you have, even for something like an accident claim as one solicitor I enquired about said they would take on my case on a no win no fee once they had seen what I was covered for on my house insurance but can't for the life of me remember what it was. I can't diclose my solitors company until my case is settled as until then I can't really say how good they are, if that makes sense.

Excalibur have you used ALL those solicitors? Man you are unlucky if you have. I only want people to post up solicitors they have employed, who they would recommend. Not a list of solicitors from the net or yellow pages, cheers

Sorry - misunderstood. These were taken from the Motorcycle Action Group magazine. I hope this is recommendation enough.

I personally know an absolutely superb motorcycle solicitor. His name is John Measures... his contact details are: 0800 021 3065 or 0115 931 5171

email is measures@bgtsolicitors.co.uk

websites is www.bgtbikersolicitors.co.uk

He is a very honest, decent bloke who will give sound advice and specialises in personal injury. He's a very active motorcyclist too! (he doesn't just talk the talk... he walks the walk too!)

I thoroughly recommend him.

Not sure I can recommend a solicitor, but I know a couple of really big fellas who will happily get money out of anyone for you.
