Step 1 - Listen for the bass in the music. Feel the thump of the bass drum and the emphasis in the syncopated beat.
Step 2 - Ball your hands into fists. They don't have to be tight fists, necessarily. Some people hold their hands so their fingers are curved, with space between the fingers and the palm, rather like holding the handlebars on a motorcycle.
Step 3 - Put your hands in the air, as high as you want to go.
Step 4 - Lean back with the beat.
Step 5 - Flick your wrists at the same time as you lean back, like revving a motorcycle. Add as much emphasis as you would like to this move.
Step 6 - Vary the steps by adding snaps, but keep leaning and flick your wrists in time with the bass.
Step 7 - Step side to side. Alternate the direction in which you flick your wrists.
Step 8 - Add anything you can think of, rocks, sways, shake your booty. As long as you stay with the beat and add those flicks and leans, you're doing the motorcycle dance.
Step 9 - Incorporate elements of other dances, such as snap dancing. Move about the floor, add martial arts moves, spins and boogey. Enjoy yourself.
