Just to say I like the site, only came on today for the first time. (I had a search engine looking for bike sales of all things and this popped up.)
I hope it takes off big style. Good luck Matt, you have a good'un here.
Rochdale? Is it still open on Sunday's? ROFL
Haha - I avoid my own town at all costs Dave, Its a slightly scary place, especially on a night out!
Always an open door though if anyone is passing, brews and beer for grabs (Have I just dropped myself right in it? eeek).
Thanks so much for the kind words on the site. I've worked my arse off for 3 years now trying to get it together on my own. I cant believe how long it actually took. Problem with this game, is that you don't make a penny until the whole thing is going. Then you spend thousands on advertising and realise that it hasn't had the impact you wanted it to (Ok, next time I'm gonna find a professional to do the advertising. lol).
Thanks for joining, and for uploading a picture as I've explained in another post.
Take care, and ride safe.
U mean a classifieds section? Hmmm, possibly.
Or hosting event and charging for entry maybe.
Currently im trying to renovate my house so I can sell up and move to Holland, so im a little stuck for time to create new sections. Damn! Gonna have to figure something out
And what has Holland got to offer that good old Blighty hasn't? Holland's okay if you want to go to the TT but apart from that I don't see the arraction Unless the female are partail to an Englishman of course.
Exactly, the Europeans love us English blokes. Haha.
Nah, my girlfriend (Laura) is Dutch. We've been to Holland on holiday and stuff, and I've fallen in love with the place. We both want to move over there (To Eindhoven). You need to see the place to believe how ace it is.
It's flat with some smooth roads. What more do you need? Oh and Dutch beer...... wacky backy ....... German tourists main road through to France, actually I'm putting meself off it now.
hey mat, you say you have had trouble advertising. have you tried avdertising on ebay? i know it sounds silly but a bike forum recently did this and got loads of response. try advertising the title as cbr, zxr, gsxr, yfz, (or whatever) then in the description give the website. just a thought.
That sounds like an ace idea! Have you the link for the other forum?
How does it work if people start to bid? How can I stop people from bidding?
And if you word it like there is nothing for sale, then will ebay still authorise the advert?
just tell them not to bid and that they aint gonna win anything! put it on for a 10 day auction. there are quite a few people who advertise a service off some kind legitamatly on ebay. ill try to find the link.
i hate ebay, its just such an unorganised looking place and complicated to use. But ill see what I can do.
Would appreciate the link tho so I can see how the other ad looked.
I know what u mean about ebay! but i must admit i have been looking at drum sets on there, my son wants a set for xmas ohhh and i will need some ear plugs hahahahahah,
