is this another clue !!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahah only joking even im not that blonde, errrr well some may disagree, lol
as i dont know what an eliminator looks like nor a ninja i havent got a clue what to put so goin now lol
Ninja, depends what you want from the bike.
Buells are good fun, but IMHO a wee bit restricted if you want something that does a bit of everything. Not the best long-haul bike in the world either, if the seat don't get you the vibes will!
I've run Electra-Glides and Sportsters for 17 years; had a 45 as well but I don't really think a 60 year old side-valve would thrill you much! Have to say the new "rubber-mount" Sportster 1200R is well worth a punt. I've owned mine since last October, lovely bit of kit. They need Stage One tuning, modded or aftermarket pipes and a decent pair of rear shocks to bring the best out of them, but most second-hand ones will have had this done already.
Obviously it ain't nearly as quick as the Ninja, nor will it corner as well, but I guess having had the Eliminator that won't faze you! Best thing I could suggest is go blag a test ride off your nearest stealership; but bear in mind what I said above, in stock trim they're as flat as a fart!

There's a link on there to the "Harley-Davidson Hangout", our forums; go ask the guys & girls in there, advice is free. Enjoy!
