I saw a manual for my bike on e-bay, bought it and it is exactly the same as the little booklet you get when you buy the bike. Anyone know where I can get a workshop manual for an XVS1100A Dragstar Classic...... I live about a mile from the sea, work virtually right on the shore, so wind and salt and sea spray and lots of rain, etc etc....... How can I stop the damn rust?????
hi rube i use to live right on the beach front to but now move back up to belfast but i use to buy a box full of wd 40 out of makro wholesalers use to spray all the bike then when going out just cleaned it all of took a bit of time but it cleans and belive it or not it polishes bike bike up beautiful
Hey thanks guys some good tips there..... I nicked some stuff from work..... I was told it was really good....... B*&^ards!!!! It was industrial waxoil. Yes it works but Jeezus what a bleedin' mess. Bike looks like I found it on the tip! Good job I got a sense of humour, even if I am a bit thick
