Just had my aunt on and it seems my Uncle, who's the closest I've ever know to a Father, is unconcious and on his final few hours having succumbed to cancer.
This is the guy who instilled my passion for motorbikes. He lost an arm in a mining accident when he was in his early 20's but never let it stop him doing anything and, with the conversion of the clutch to the throttle side, continued riding big bikes.
The recent picture I posted of the black 1959 BMW R69 is his but up until a couple of years ago he owned a K75S and the R80RS I now have.
The next few hours or days are going to be tough :'(
Our thoughts are with you Steve, its always had no matter what when someone close to you becomes ill, and even when its been an expected end for a while its still hard.
I went through the same thing with my gran, I still cry about it now almost 3 years on, big hugs to you
