POLICE in Wales are appealing for information following the death of a motorcyclist after the rider collided with a large metal bar on the Taff Trail.
Jamie Roberts, 28, died in hospital three days after he suffered severe head injuries in the crash, near the Brecon Mountain Railway, on July 10.
The 55-mile route, which runs between the Cardiff waterfront at Cardiff Bay in the South and the Market Town of Brecon, is used by walkers, cyclists and horseriders.
The route's website forum - tafftrail.org.uk - contains many postings complaining about the illegal use of motorcycles on the trail.
Officers from South Wales Police are appealing for information who may know why the metal bar was put across the trail prior to the accident.
As anybody who has worked in the farming industy will know this was probley done by ramblers as many dont give a dam about anythink except there so called right to ramble across any land as and when thay see fit, I know there are meny ramblers out there that dont act in this way but same old thing the few give all the bad name as motorcylist only know to well.
Why the hell would anyone do that to anyone else? Society is spiralling out of control if people get off on doing that sort of thing! I hope they catch the people who do this sort of thing and chop off their bollocs! That would bloody teach them!
It's something that you would never be able to see too hey? Are there any roads I should be aware of? Only been riding half a year and want to make it to a full year without being decapitated!
