When searching the site for members, most people check the first couple of pages of results.
If you want to be more highly ranked in the search results, you need to either subscribe or visit the site more often. The site logs when you visit it, and uses this information to rank the results fairly. It obviously isn't fair to have a member who hasn't been to the site for 6 months being at the top of the results!
