The first thing I had with two wheels and a motor was a Raleigh Runabout moped when I was 14 which I rebuilt in the shed and rode around the local fields until it dropped to bits.
Then when I was 18 I had a Honda CB125 which I rode for a couple of years.
Then a loooooong gap,
Then a Yamaha YBR125 which I rode for two years before getting my full licence and upgrading to my present Honda CBF600.
Not much of a history to be sure, but it's a start...
First bike GSX400 the 4 not the twin in 1986
since then GS450, honda 400/4, Z1000 x 2 (old ones not the new ones), SV650S, ZX9RB4, TL1000R, ZX7R, ZX9RC1, another ZX7R
just thinking thats not a very long list for 25 yrs!

The very first was part shares in a BSA Bantam, in 71/2.
Up until then I thought BSA stood for Birmingham Small Arms.
It was really Bastard's Stopped Again!

I started in ྊ on a Motobecane mobylette (awesome stuff) , then a Suzuki GT 250 b, BSA A65, Yam DT400, Yam RD400dx. Then a few years off, then a Yam RS 100, then a Yam RD 250, then a few more years off.
I came back to biking in ྜྷ with a Kawasaki GPz 1100a2 (felt like i was riding a railway carriage) , i realised i still had the bottle for biking, so i bought a new Kawasaki ZX6RG1, then a ZX6RJ1, then in 2001 i bought the (biking) love of my life, my Cagiva V-Raptor 1000.
There are lots of other bikes i would like, but not enough to get rid of the weirdoraptor.
ps. i had the BSA for 3 years and rode through all weathers, gave her some right good hidings, and she only ever broke down on me once. I think the japanese electrics and switchgear made a lot of difference.
CD175 in about 74 stuck in 2nd gear still fun tho,was suposed to learn how t' strip an engine with it but........Had a share in a Triton 650 fantastic but ya didnt think about the value of stuff, only 1 of us could kickstart it.onto a Kwacker Kh 250 awesome, bag of crap really in hindsight, swopped that for an RD 250 job with the rounder tank
76 model i think,First nu bike GSX 250 nice little bike passed me test on that, before
an enforced break for 8 yr after a volvo 244 dl took exeption too my presence on the same road
Finally decided couldnt do without a bike whatever they said, was gonna get a yammy 900, salesman wasnt bothered so went and got the Harley sportster 1200 as I realised they werent outta reach ,last of the 4 speed jobs pearl white paint, loverly, after doing distance decided I needed the evo FXRS,been all over the country all weathers, never any bother, still got it 19 yrs later great bike but I am a tad biased, cant really imagine not having it now.
passed my test on a CB250 in 1978, had a break then a honda 125 dont know what sort but it got hammered around the fields, then a road bike GPZ500 followed by a ZXR 750 and now the zx9, also have a Yam drag star 125 and a Jailing 125 crosser type for the fields
SR500, it was a bitch. Used to stall at traffic lights and had to wait ten minutes for it to cool down before it would kick over.
Since then, 650 Katana, GSXR750 (slingshot) and CD175, another 650 Katana, SV650s, another GSXR750. Not a very long list considering. Not very varied either lol.
My first was a wee Honda MT5 trailie when I was 16. Then onto a cheapo insurance repair job CB125TDC on my 17th birthday. 18th birthday, got myself an RD125LC, then ran out of time on my provisional.
Next was a wee suzuki GP100 to get me to work and back. Had that 6 months then put in for car and bike tests. Passed them both and got a CBR600.
That got annihilated by a numpty car driver, and put me out of action for nearly 4 years. Next came a Triumph Daytona 900 with the compo money.
Finally, 2yrs ago, got my dream machine, a ZZR1400...
