Hi Naughty,
welcome to the madhouse that is BM.
Have a look over the last couple of pages from the forums, there are several posts about regular gatherings. Alternatively, put a post up for when you fancy a rideout, see what respose you get.
It's a friendly site, if you're pro-active. 'course, they're all mad
ok for ride out from bolton you have the yorkshire etc, devils bridge, etc most bikers go out on a sunday so if you set of reasonable you will meet up with riders all around, further, the cat and fiddle, snake pass, if you head for wales (north ) there is the horse shoe pass. (ponerosa cafe hindreds of bikes and nice pass overthe top head (watch out for police and speed cameras north wales renound for it) The a525 is a particularly interesting road out there and good for practicing got a rally bad camber lol heading towards ruthin
Err kawasaki probably have a risers club as well they used to anway...
Lots of bikers go out towards buxton thats a good place good roads etc the A6 is georgeous and from where you are would be a good run up to lake windamere. There will be a bikers pub near you expect where everyone goes. (here by me there is the scothpiper in Maghull and the hen and chickens in lydiate. The tap in bebbington the more you go the more you will learn about favourite haunts
If you get out there the sun shining be ready to stop where you see bikers parked before long you will be back in the flow yeeeeee haaaaa and good luck. Rallies do a search on the net for bikers rallies and you will get loads. There ia nabd rally 12. may weekend also the northwich spint (cheshire) builth wells has a real good reputation
There's a bike meet round the corner from Bolton at Rivington Barn. Must admit though the Scotch Piper on a Wednesday night is a good bike meet, it's absoluteley chocker.
Hi yes rattler rivington barn is fantastic on a sunday and the piper on a wednesday is a must. Do you go to the piper rattler? I go nearly every wednesday with friends. I will keep an eye out to say hello or if you see me say hi
there are so many there sometimes its fantastic andthe burgers aint bad either. Didnt realise that bolton was so near but I am quite bad at geography. On runs I usualy travel on the tail end 1 because im slow and 2 if im in front always take everyone the wrong way ahhhh but its always a novelty
apparantly there were only about 5 at thepiper last week rain stopped play and the way its bttering down tonight dont lookmto good... hopefully it will have burnt itself out by wednesday
Hopefully it will be OK this Wednesday. Anyway Earthwind, you were parked next to me the week before last at the piper. Sureley you couldn't have missed the bus I ride, or not heard it. I've now placed a phot so you should recognise the bike.
yes i think i recognise the bike lol!! if thats the one you were on it, stood out even amonst all the rest, nice custom job. Oh well if its not raining I am going this week fingers crossed XXXXXX trying to work out how to do a rain dance backwards so it dries up nicely and the sun comes out
