Blues band The Idle Hands are well worth going to see if you like good music. I first saw them in 1991 and have have seen them many times since.
They have a couple of gigs in April, Bagthorpe on the 16th then Bakewell on the 30th.
Both venues are real ale pubs, and have camping nearby, ideal for an overnighter
If anyone's interested let me know which date you prefer and I'll arrange something.
Some links to You Tube on their website if you want a listen:-

Hey Jac , they both sound do able though like Suzi said ...Where is Bagthorpe ? will let folks this end know and see if we can get a group to go Will check my rota for dates .....cheers hon xx
ah ok 6ypsy well either for me tho hang on bakewell on 30 probs better as after payday but it does depend on other rallies for me too as they will get priority chick - defo up for local ride out tho xx
Nice one BT... party's on!
This won't drain coffers too much cos it's just a night out with camping thrown in so that you don't have to sort getting home if you want a beer.
And the Bagthorpe gig is the day before the Notts easter egg run so it would be a good meeting point for whoever's doing that too.
Well I've pm'd people nearby, and there seems to be a bit of interest so I'll get some details and post an event.
I'm a bit dubious how BM location search works so apologies to anyone I've missed (or included if you're in Hebrides)
Woo hoo! Bikers blues and beer - what more can you want - beginning with 'B'
