Anyone fancy a rideout to Aberystwyth on 10 April (subject to decentish weather of course!) I have no idea what's there, except the sea, but I know the roads are great for riding on. As usual if we get a few interested, I'll ask for it to be put on events (oh and would like a fair few leaving from my house, just to give the neighbours something to talk about )

Hi to All, This is the same day as the Prescott Bike Festival, being held just north of Cheltenham, do a google on this and you'll find a good event worth going to. Plus for those speed freaks amongst us there's a chance to go on one of the premier hill climbs race tracks in the UK for a only a few squids!! Andy459

Bikers meet down on the Promenade and theres a nice cafe hut there with tables and chairs, or if thats too cold theres a few cafes not far away. What else is in Aberystwyth well not a lot really, like you say the roads are fabulous to ride on, Im assuming you will come down through Bala and Dolgellau, take it easy coming down through North Wales, the police there tend to be out on Sundays but once over their forces border you dont need to worry too much as I think they give most of their PC's the day off on a Sunday, only very rarely have I seen them out and about. There may be a small chance of a speed van as well but again if your looking for them its quite easy to spot. Have a great day and enjoy the roads you'll want to come back for more.

WHATS IN ABER ???!!!! LOADS!!!! Cliff railway, National library(MASSIVE)' Ice cream, Stunning views, (if you know which way to go!) Beach, Aldi, Kfc, Mac d, Halfords!! And the road to Devils Bridge!! and Elan Valley, I would be pleased to guide you guys, If you make the effort to come this far then you cant miss those!!!
