The Air Ambulance Service pays thousands of pounds each year in VAT on it's fuel. This petition is asking the government to waiver these payments in the form of a grant as it does the Lifeboat Service. The Air Ambulance saves many lives each year some of which are bikers. I needed these after my accident!!! and were with me in minutes!!! I work at the airport where these are based, these helicopters are run by support from fund raising events etc, with no support from the govenment. I try and help by being in their monthly lottery. Any help anyone can give, from signing this to dropping a £1 in their bucket at one of the summer event's they are at, will help to keep them running!!

done. i live half a mile away from the kent air ambulance base. it is heartbreaking how often it goes out. if you are in the area you can visit the base, the crew are friendly and will explain everything to the kids, but make sure you leave a donation in the box when you leave, its all done on charity.
