Just a quick one to say hello to all fellow bikers on here I ride my bike as often as possible ( only thing stops me is ice on the road ).. The trouble is i work nights 6 nights a week Meh!!! and all my other biking buddies are normal people who work normal times of the day.. So im looking for biking buddies male or female for rideouts during the day/week and on sundays.. Saturday is my chore and sleep catch up day LOL Been rideing now for 3-4 years my current bike is a suzuki gsxr600 k8 ( my first sportsbike ) and met some really good bikey freinds who i enjoy meeting up with on sundays mostly I just find it boring sometimes when out n about during the week when everyones at work tsk.. My useual haunts are The Dales and North Wales, peak districts nice but can get vey busy with tintop drivers at the hot spots, so mostly mooch around cheshire and north wales during the weekdays for a few hrs stopping for brews at places like Whitchurch,Denbigh,Bala Lake,Settle, Hawes, Devils bridge etc etc... Also like doing the odd trackday at oulton park ( novice LOL but getting there ).. So if like me, and you work unsocial hours and get out n about during the weekdays and fancy some company, someone to chat to at brew stops.. Get intouch and we,ll go for a bimble I live 7 mile from lymm which is a good spot to meet up folk ie Lymm Services for a brim fill before heading off to who knows where Have Nav wil travel, Know lots of good routes Chat soon wayyy past my bed time LOL... Oh can anyone tell me why i cant upload a profile pic ??? tried the uploader jobbie but to no avail..

Hi gixxrMike welcome to BM. I am in the wrong part of the country for you, but I am sure there is someone that does not work during the day in your area. When you find your way around the site you will find lots of things to get involved in.Regarding your problem uploading a photo, Matt would be the best one to advise you. In the mean time try again, there are 2 ways, the easy upload or the multiple upload. Both should be OK and easy enough. Good luck on the site. David

Welcome to the site GixxerMike, try going to the simple load and when you hit the browse icon to chose your pic - I have to double click on it, then up at the top left you should be able to click on the upload button. The other option doesn't work on mine. I may have told you a complete load of rubbish but it's worth a try. I'm sure the amount of folk on this site you will meet up with folk that can catch up with for day time adventures. There are loads of us meeting at Squires for lunch this Sunday coming to celebrate Alices birthday and some are going the night before to exups 40th - have a wee look on the events page. It would be good chance for you meet folk. I'm self employed and can get out during the week at times however, I'm to far away to catch up with you for week day rides, also with you riding a gixxer you'll be speedy and I ride a tractor although i've never been to Hawes fall and would love at some point. Anyway, there's loads to get involved with and if you pop into the chat room it's a good way to break the ice. All the very best ride safe and stay happy

eyup & welcome to BM I'm sure you'll find some weekday riding buds. As has been said above, check out the events pages for stuff going on & keep an eye on the forums for last minute stuff. There's usually loads going on. If you still have problems uploading pics (follow Bob's advice above) then prod a mod (link to help/staff at the bottom of the page) & it'll get through to the right person - probably Matt

Plenty goes on on this side of the pennines and I do try to persuade these lovely Yorkshire folk to ride West on occasion, lol. Rivington Hall has a good reputation.
You should find plenty going on to amuse you.
